To Return Home

Mrs. W. Griffin, 205 Park Avenue, received a cablegram yesterday from her husband, Sergeant William George Griffin, of the 4th C.M.R., bringing the glad news of his return from England. He left here in November 1914, and was wounded within a month after he landed in France, being incapacitated for further service.

Sergeant William George Griffin, 4th C.M.R., was among the local men who returned home this week. A veteran of the Boer war, he enlisted in November, 1914 and saw much service in France, being twice wounded. He has been invalided home. He resides at 205 Park Avenue.
