A new TV ad from Sainsbury in the U.K. is attracting attention for it's sentiment and attention to detail. While some are criticizing the company for using this subject matter in a commercial, the advertisement was made in partnership with The Royal British Legion and has garnered over 10 million views on Youtube.
A Sainsbury representative says, "Although the events we show in our ad are fictional, we’ve tried to make the details as accurate as possible. Everything from the insignia on the men's uniform to the depth of the trenches is based on historical fact."
