Privates John Reichel and Howard Staats are both reported wounded today. Private John Reichel was a Brant County farmer when he enlisted. He is single and Scotch. Private Howard Staats was also a farmer and had four years with the Mohawk Cadets. Staats joined the first overseas battalion of the Dufferin Rifles. Reichel joined the first overseas battalion of the Dufferin Rifles.
