In all probability Sapper Hubert Bradford Magill, who has returned from the front will arrive back in the city on Sunday evening. Word was received in the city this morning to this effect from the Military Hospital Commission, Toronto.

Pte. H.B. Magill Returned Home

In time for the Christmas festivities Private Hubert Bradford Magill, invalided home from the front arrived in the city on Sunday evening and is now at the home of his aunt, 150 Wellington Street. Members of the Soldiers’ Aid Commission welcomed home the returned hero. Pte. Magill formerly worked in the office of the Goold, Shapley & Muir Co., but some time ago returned to his home in Ireland. Shortly after the outbreak of war he enlisted with the Canadians and has seen much service. Through internal injuries suffered he has spent a very lengthy period in hospitals. At first the doctors just gave him a few weeks to live, but he has so far disproved their expectations.
