William Pollock

William Pollock, 320 Grand River Avenue, passed away at the Brantford General Hospital, Friday morning, in his fifty-eighty year, after an illness of a few years.  He was born in Markham, Ontario, the son of James Pollock and the late Charlotte Highfield.  Left to mourn his loss are; His father, James Pollock, Brantford; five brothers, Harry Pollock, John Pollock, Hector Alexander Pollock, all of Brantford; James Pollock and Douglas Highfield Pollock, Detroit; three sisters, Mrs. John Pinnell, Medicine Hat, Alberta; Mrs. Burl Fish, Detroit, and Mrs. James Robertson, Brantford.  Mr. Pollock is resting at Thorpe Brothers; Funeral Home, West Street, where the service will be conducted Monday afternoon.  Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

William Pollock

The funeral of William Pollock; son of Mr. James Pollock, 320 Grand River Avenue, was conducted Monday afternoon from Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home.  Rev. A.A. Maloney, Minister of St. James Anglican Church, had charge of the service.  The pallbearers were Fred Hetherington, Richard Hart, Ernest Coxhead, John Emmett, Gordon Dean and Carl Fred.  Interment was in Mount Hope Cemetery
