William Edward Maguire

PARIS – William (Eddie) Maguire, of 42 Grand River Street South, Paris, died Monday in the Willett Hospital after a short illness.  He was born in Paris 62 years ago.  Mr. Maguire was a member of St. James’ Anglican Church, the Paris Canadian Legion, the Orange Lodge and the Black Knight.  He served with the armed forces in the First World War.  Surviving are four brothers, Charles, Gilbert, Geoffrey and Gordon, all of Kitchener, one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Wright of Kitchener.  Mr. Maguire is resting at Bruce B. Smith’s Funeral Home in Paris for service from St. James’ Anglican Church Thursday at 2 p.m.  Interment will be in Paris Cemetery.  Rev. H.K.L. Charlton will officiate.
