Mrs. Emeretta Howe, 230 Grey Street, city, received official word on Saturday that her husband, Pte. William Howe had been dangerously wounded and had been admitted to the 42nd Clearing station in France.

William Henry Howe Died of Wounds

Mrs. William Howe, 230 Grey St., received the sad intelligence today that her son, Pte. William Henry Howe had died of wounds received on April 28. It was only on Saturday last that Mrs. Howe received word that her son had been dangerously wounded and apparently he died the same day as previously reported.
