Word has been received from Mrs. Hopsgood, Orillia, that her brother, Sergeant William Herridge, formerly of 212 Chatham Street of this city, had been wounded, receiving a gunshot wound in the head. Sergeant Herridge was a former well-known member of the Dufferin Rifles. He enlisted in 1915, and left Niagara Camp in one of the early drafts.
