Many friends in the city will regret to hear that word has been received by his wife of the death of Private Walter Vernon Sheldrake, at the Queen Alexandra Military Hospital, Grosvenor Road, London, Eng., on November 4, 1918. He leaves to mourn his sad loss a sorrowing wife and one daughter, Myrtle, his mother and father, 197 Brock Street, two sisters, Mrs. Myrtle Dick, 267 Nelson Street, Mrs. J. Schmitz, 246 Sheridan Street, and one brother, Roy 22 Fleet Street.
