Walter Frank Hinton

Walter Hinton, 76, of 17 Sarah Street, died in the Brantford general Hospital.  He was born in Kent County, England.  He was a resident of Brantford for the past 56 years.  A tinsmith by trade, he was also a veteran of the First World War who saw overseas duty serving with the 125th Battalion. Mr. Hinton was a member of the Branch 90 of the Royal Canadian Legion. Surviving are his wife, the former Vera Prime; three sons, Frank, Arthur and Howard; two daughters, Mrs. Marietta Raven and Mrs. Earl (Dorothy) Davis, all of Brantford; one brother, Arthur in England; 25 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  He is at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home from Sunday evening until Tuesday for service in the chapel at 2 p.m.  Interment will be in the Soldiers’ Plot at Mount Hope Cemetery.  Rev. J.W. Houston will officiate.
