Reported Wounded

In a casualty list received by The Expositor at 2 o'clock this afternoon appears the name of Private Thomas Hollowell of Brantford as having been wounded. He formerly resided at 204 Brant Avenue and enlisted with the 38th Dufferin Rifles.

On Way Home

Two more Brantford heroes have arrived back in Canada from England and are now on their way back to their homes here. They are Thomas Hollowell, 204 Brant Avenue, who enlisted with the “Duffs” in March 1915, and G. Parker of 11 Park Avenue, a reservist of the Worcestershire who went overseas in August 1914 with the first contingent.

HOLLOWELL, Thomas – At the Brantford general Hospital, Tuesday, July 25, 1972, in his 77th year, Thomas Hollowell, past member of Brant Lodge 45 A.F. and A.M., Royal Canadian Legion Branch 90, 25 Year Club, and Holy Trinity Anglican Church; beloved husband of the late Elizabeth Hollowell; dear father of Mrs. William (Betty) Brown of Brantford and brother of Edward of Huntingdon, Long Island, New York.  Private serve was held at McCleister Funeral Home Ltd., 30 Brant Avenue.  Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.  Rev. John MacCallum officiated.
