Death Recorded of Private Roy Hill – Wife Gave Birth to a Son the Day of Her Husband’s Death

Private Roy Hill, a member of the Six Nations’ Indian Reserve, died in England from pneumonia on Saturday. Word to this effect has been received in the city from Lt.-Col. M.E.B. Cutcliffe, of the 125th Battalion, with which unit he went overseas. About 10 days ago word reached the city that he was seriously ill. At the present time his wife is in the hospital, and the sad part is that on the day of her husband’s death she gave birth to a son.
