Mrs. Fred Simmons, 42 Curtis Street, has received word that her son, Private Robert Sharp of the Seaforth Highlanders, formerly a well-known Brantford man has been wounded in action. Private Sharp was wounded while serving in Mesopotamia. He left Brantford just before the outbreak of the war and enlisted with the Seaforths in England. While resident in this city he was employed at Turnbull and Cutcliffe’s and lived at 16 Washington Street. His wife is residing in England.
