Simcoe Soldier Dead

Pte. Elgin Lewis of the Home Guard Niagara Falls died yesterday from pneumonia.  Pte. Lewis is a brother of Mr. Charles Lewis of Winter’s grocery store.  The death occurred in the Niagara Falls hospital.  The funeral will take place at Simcoe, where the deceased soldier’s parents reside.  Mr. Charles Lewis is at present confined to the house with quinsy.
