RUDDY, Richard Kenneth – Peacefully, after a lengthy illness at Parkwood Veteran’s Hospital, London, on Monday, March 16, 1987, Richard Kenneth Ruddy, in his 88th year; beloved husband of Mary Leeming; dear father of Richard (Dick), Tom and John; fondly remembered by his daughters-in-law, Margaret, Frances, Tina and Linda; much loved by nine grandchildren; predeceased by a brother, Tom and a sister, Eva.  Mr. Ruddy was a member of Farringdon Independent Church, was a former member of Park Baptist Church and the Rotary Club of Brantford.  Major Ruddy served with the Dufferin and Haldimand Rifles in both World Wars and was a graduate of the Royal Military College, Kingston.  He was a retired paint manufacturers.  Friends will be received at the Becket Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue, on Tuesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Wednesday at 2 p.m.  Interment Farringdon Burial Ground.
