Letters and documents

BX November 25, 1918

Mrs. Annie O’Neil, corner of Wellington and Murray Street, on Saturday received official notice that her son, Private Louis Vincent O’Neil, of the Machine Gun Corps, had been received on November 12 at the General Hospital, Le Treport, with shell gas. Pte. O’Neil evidently got the effects of the gas on the day of the armistice.
