“Sincerely regret to inform you that Driver Lawrence Greenaway of the artillery is officially reported to 4th General Hospital, Dannes-Camiers, Sept. 29 with gunshot wound in the right arm.”  Thus read the message received by the soldier’s mother, Mrs. Eliza G. Greenaway, 157 Brock St. Today. Gunner Greenaway has been three years in France, going over with the 43rd Battery. He worked in Brantford at the Cockshutt plow factory. Sincere regret is extended to the mother.
