Joseph Mathewson

Joseph Mathewson, 69 of 103 Seventh Avenue, died today in Henderson General Hospital, Hamilton.  He was born in Paris and had resided in Brantford for the past 65 years.  Mr. Mathewson was with the Hussmann Refrigerator Company Limited, retiring in November 1965.  He was a veteran of the First and Second World Wars.  Surviving are two sons, Donald Mathewson of Brantford, Kenneth Campbell of R7 Brantford; two daughters, Mrs. David (Jean) Winter of Hamilton, Mrs. Doris Shier of Detroit; 12 grandchildren.  His wife, the former Louise Campbell, died in 1928.  Mr. Mathewson is at Hill and Robinson Funeral Home for service Monday at 2 p.m.  Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
