Joseph Groat

Joseph (Myke) Groat of Mount Pleasant and formerly of Hagersville, died Sunday in Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, in his 67th year.  Born at Hagersville, he was a veteran of the First World War, serving with the Second Canadian Engineering Battalion and served overseas. Surviving are sons, daughters and grandchildren.  Mr. Groat is resting at the Hill and Robinson Funeral Home until Wednesday for service in the chapel at 3.30 p.m.  Interment will be in the Soldiers’ Plot in Mount Hope Cemetery.
