With Military Honors

The many friends and acquaintances of the late Sergeant John Munday, who died of spinal meningitis after a few days’ illness at Bramshott Camp, will be interested to learn from a letter received recently from his parents that he was buried with military honors at his old home in Virginia Water, Surrey. Sergeant Munday will be much missed in the city, especially in the Baptist Church circles, where he was an active worker among young people. He passed away on Jan. 6, at Bramshott camp. He leaves a little daughter, whose mother had predeceased the father, his parents and four sisters and one brother, all in the old land. He had left Brantford with the 125th Battalion, and was transferred to the 4th Battalion, serving in France for over a year.
