Mrs. Elizabeth Lord, 248 West Mill Street, received word yesterday that her son, Private John Lord, had been wounded on June 19 receiving gunshot in the left arm. He was employed as a machinist at J.H. Hall and Sons plant, Bridge Street, before enlisting with the C.M.R. he had been at the front for over two years.
