BX September 25, 1918

Mr. Archie Likens of the city received official word that his son, Private John Mark Likens had been admitted to 16th General Hospital, Le Treport on August 28, suffering from a gunshot wound in the left arm. Private Likens is one of Brantford’s youngest soldiers. He enlisted when only 18 with the 215th Battalion. His many friends will hope for encouraging news about him soon.
