John Franklin Haines

The death of John Franklin Haines, 56 occurred Tuesday in the Brantford general Hospital. Mr. Haines was born in Brantford, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Haines, now deceased. He was a lifelong resident of the city. Mr. Haines enlisted in the 125th Battalion at the beginning of the First World War, and served with that unit throughout the conflict. He was a member of the Canadian Legion. Surviving are two brothers, James, Onondaga, and William, Brantford. Mr. Haines is resting at the Beckett Funeral Home, where service will be conducted Thursday afternoon. Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.

The funeral of John Franklin Haines, was conducted from the Beckett Funeral Home on Thursday afternoon. Rev. J. Reynolds Esler of Alexandra Presbyterian Church was in charge. The pallbearers were D. Monkman, F. Wright, J.E. Armstrong, J. McConnell, J. Hughes and Edward W. Reaks, all members of the Brantford Branch of the Canadian Legion.
