Mr. Ashley Sayles, 213 Murray Street, received word that his younger son, Gunner James Harris Sayles, of the 54th Battery, is in a hospital in England, suffering from blood poisoning. Gunner Sayles was in the big drive at Vimy ridge. He escaped injury in action but met with an accident to his right hand which resulted in blood poisoning.
