James T. Hibbert

The death occurred suddenly this morning of James T. Hibbert, husband of Ellen Wilkins, 37 Alonzo Street, in his 67th year. Mr. Hibbert was born in England and had been a resident of this city since 1908.  He was a former employee of the Gould, Shapley and Muir Company, but in recent years has been employed as night watchman at Universal Cooler Company of Canada Limited.  During the First World War, Mr. Hibbert served overseas with the 125th Battalion.  Surviving, besides his widow, are three brothers, William J., Paris, Joseph A., Brantford and Edward, England; four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Kate) Ingram, England, Mrs. D. Kelly, Ayr, Ontario, Mrs. Robert Bryant and Mrs. G. Smith, both of Brantford.  Mr. Hibbert is resting at Thorpe Brothers’ Funeral Home, where the service will be conducted Wednesday afternoon.  Interment will be in the Soldiers’ Plot, Mount Hope Cemetery.
