In the Brantford General Hospital, on Thursday, December 4, 1969, Herbert Holmes (retired Canadian National Railways employee in his 84th year; beloved husband of Emily Crosby, 98 North Park Street; dear father of Miss Ethel Holmes at home, Mrs. Billie Margaret Elizabeth (Betty) Street of Brantford; grandfather of Barry Street of Toronto; cousin of Edith Holmes of Haileybury.  Resting at Hill and Robinson Limited, Funeral Home, Nelson and Queen Streets, from Saturday evening until Monday.  Service in St. Stephen’s Anglican Church, Queensway Drive and Franklin Street, at 2 p.m.  Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.  Rev. R. Crocker will officiate.
