Henry A. Richards

The death of Henry A. Richards, a former resident of Brantford, occurred in the Hamilton General Hospital Tuesday in his 74th year.  He was born in London, England, and had been a resident of Hamilton for the past 25 years.  During the First World War he served with the 215th Battalion.  His wife, the former Hanna Collins, predeceased him in 1928.  Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Robert Wilson, Stoney Creek; six sons, Thomas, Edward, Albert and John, all of Hamilton, Gordon, Toronto and James, Brantford; 16 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Mr. Richards is resting at Grunton’s Funeral Home for service Thursday afternoon.  Interment will be in Westmount Memorial Park Cemetery, Hamilton.
