Circumstances of Casualty: Died of Wounds

BX April 10, 1918

The first United States casualty in which the loss is borne by a Brantford home was reported this week from the Adjutant General’s Department, Washington, when Harry T. McCoun, of the United States infantry, was reported as having died of wounds received in action during the latter part of March. His father and mother reside at 10 Hart Place in this city and the official advice was received by the father, the mother being away in New York at the time. McCoun enlisted early last year with the U.S. forces, and had been overseas some time.
