Mrs. Annie Ditchfield, Eagle Place P.O., has received official word that Private Harry Hickman for whose boy she is guardian, has been admitted to hospital on October 3, suffering from a gunshot wound in the left leg. He enlisted with the 215th and before enlistment was employed at Elliott’s bakery. His son, Pte. Harry Hickman was killed on Sept. 30.
