BX May 15, 1917

Mrs. Kate Hall, of 16 Burford Street, received word this morning that her husband, Private Harry Hall, infantry, had been admitted to the 22nd General Hospital at Camiers, suffering from gunshot wound in the left thigh. The wound was said to be severe. Prior to going overseas with the first overseas battalion of the 38th Dufferin Rifles, Pte. Hall was employed at the Massey-Harris factory.
