GRANT – At the residence of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Bessey, 65 Dunsdon, on Wednesday, June 21, 1972, Harry Grant of 183 Rawdon Street, in his 95th year, husband of the late Esther Rose Miller; predeceased by his first wife, Amelia Miller and one son and daughter; dear father of Mrs. Robert (Violet) Bessey, Mrs. Frank (Marjorie) Cowan, Mrs. Gladys Baker and Mrs. Sheila Thompson all of Brantford, Mrs. Edward (Ethel) Leggett of Burlington; also 13 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter; brother of Margaret and May in England; predeceased by 2 brothers.  Mr. Grant was a veteran of the First World War, serving with the 125th Battalion; charter member of Massey-Ferguson Quarter Century Club and Branch 90 Royal Canadian Legion.  Resting at Hill and Robinson Limited, Funeral Home, Nelson and Queen Streets, until Saturday.  Service in the chapel, 1 p.m.  Interment Soldiers’ Plot, Mount Hope Cemetery.  Rev. Grant Darling officiating.
