The name of Private George Palmer Tapley appeared in the casualty lists on Tuesday as wounded. George was an old member of the Burford band, and his many friends here will wish that his wounds are slight and that he will soon be all right again.

Flowerday (Sarah) of Flint, Michigan, Mrs. Ensley Baker (Myrtle) of Saginaw, Michigan.  Mrs. Dave Parratte (Bonnilee) of Paris and Mr. Sam A. Tapley of Burford.  Resting at the Robinson Funeral Home, 57 Maple Avenue, South Burford, where funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 p.m.  Interment Mount Vernon Cemetery.
