G. Melville Richardson

PARIS – G. Melville Richardson, 64 of 61 Capron Street, Paris, died Monday at the Willett Hospital.  Born at Richwood, Ont., he was the only son of Mr. and Mrs. James Richardson, and lived in Paris for many years.  Mr. Richardson was an employee of the Sanderson and Harold Company for over thirty years.  He was a veteran of the First World War and was a member of the United Church.  Surviving are five sisters, Mrs. Eva O’Riley, of Croton-on-Hudson, N.Y., Mrs. Viola Cook of Lapeer, Mich., Mrs. Ethel Kohn and Mrs. Nellie Ward, both of Paris, and Mrs. William (Marjorie) Farr, of Port Dover; several nieces and nephews.  Mr. Richardson is at the Cumming Funeral Home in Paris for service Thursday at 2.30 p.m.  Interment will be in Paris Cemetery.  Rev. Royal E. Newman will officiate.  There will be a Canadian Legion service from the funeral home this evening.
