NEWMAN, George Edward – At the John Noble Home, on Tuesday, November 21, 1972, George E. Newman (Retired employee Massey Ferguson Co.), in his 95th year; husband of the late Annie Shrubsole, formerly of Darling Street; dear father of Miss May A. Newman of Ancaster.  Mr. Newman was a lifelong member of the Salvation Army, veteran of the First World War, a bandsman with the 125th Battalion and retired band master of Brantford Citadel Band.  Resting at Hill and Robinson Limited, Funeral Home, Nelson and Queen Streets, from Thursday morning until Friday.  Service in the chapel at 2 p.m.  Interment Farringdon Burial Ground.  Major A.E. Milley will officiate.
