George F. LeConte
The death occurred Friday evening at his home, 32 Clinch Avenue, of George F. LeConte, in his sixty-ninth year. Death followed a lingering illness. Born in England, Mr. LeConte came to Brantford thirty years ago, and was employed by the Canadian National Railways until he retired four years ago. He was a veteran of the First Great War, having left Brantford with the 84th Battalion. Beside his widow, Mr. LeConte leaves to mourn his loss two sons, Pte. Frank LeConte and Sgt. Edward LeConte, both overseas, the latter with a Provost company; and five daughters, Mrs. H. Brown and Mrs. F. Singleton, both of Brantford, Mrs. A. Gooch, California, Mrs. H. Aitcheson, Hamilton, and Mrs. H. Martin, Welland. Eleven grandchildren also survive. Mr. LeConte is resting at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. Brown, 8 Graham Avenue, until Tuesday afternoon, when service will be held to Farringdon Ground.

George LeConte
The funeral of George LeConte was conducted from the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. Brown, 8 Graham Avenue, Tuesday afternoon and was largely attended by relatives and friends. The service was conducted by Major George Mundy of the Salvation Army. Many beautiful floral pieces evidence the esteem in which the deceased was held and were also expressive of sympathy for sorrowing members of his family. The pallbearers were Henry Ward, James Evans, Albert Brown, Edward Evans, Harold Martin and Frank Hawthorne. Interment was in Farringdon Burial ground.
