George William Gray

PARIS – The death of George William Gray, uncle of Mrs. Pharaoh Hey, Paris, occurred on Thursday in Sunnybrook Hospital, Toronto, in his 76th year.  Mr. Gray was a former employee of the Paris Wincey Mill.  He enlisted with the 215th Battalion in the First World War and serviced in France.  He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.  Surviving besides his niece is a nephew, George S. Bauslaugh, California.  The funeral service will be conducted on Saturday afternoon at the J.P. McCammon Funeral Home.  Attending the semi-military service will be Branch 29 of the Canadian Legion.  Interment will be in Paris Cemetery.
