Private Frederick Noakes, late of the 125th, was today reported to be in No. 22 Casualty Clearing Station, on September 26 having been wounded. The word was received by his father Alfred Noakes, 45 Eagle Avenue.

Is Improving

Further word regarding the condition of her son, Private Frederick Noakes of the 125th Battalion, has been received by Mrs. A. Noakes, 45 Eagle Avenue. Some few weeks ago Pte. Noakes was officially reported as seriously ill and dangerously wounded. He is now quartered in a general hospital in France, and is progressing favorably. He has been wounded in the neck and back.
