Seriously Ill

Many friends in the city will be very sorry to hear of the serious illness from pneumonia of Frank Splatt, a former member of the Cockshutt Plow Company’s office staff. He left the city last June, having joined the navy and has been with the Hochelaga, with headquarters at Halifax, at which place he now is, having been in port when stricken. His mother, Mrs. Splatt of 60 Eagle Avenue, was notified on Saturday evening, and a late telegram came advising someone to come. His brother, Melvin left for his bedside on Monday evening, and further news is anxiously awaited.
