Sergeant Francis John Mavin a Hun Prisoner

That Sergeant Francis John Mavin, who enlisted here with the 84th Battalion, and who was later transferred to another unit at the front, is a German prisoner, is the word received this morning by his brother Cyril.  He had previously been reported missing, but the war office has since learned that he was taken captive by the Germans. He was a machinist at the Ham and Nott factory before enlistment.
