Cause and Place of Death: Died of Wounds. No. 44 Casualty Clearing Station.

BX October 25, 1916

In a letter received in the city from his brother it has been learned that Pte. Ernest S. Taylor of the 19th Battalion had died of wounds received at the front. Private Taylor formerly worked with Charles Taylor, plumber, and boarded with Ms. James Humble, at 176 Darling Street. He was an Englishman and had no relatives in this country. As his next of kin was given in England this is the first word that was received here.
