Private Ernest Ray of Brantford is today officially reported admitted to No. 3 general hospital at Boulogne, on September 15, suffering from a shrapnel wound in the hand. Pte. Ray formerly resided on Oxford Street and enlisted with the 36th Battalion. After getting overseas he was transferred to the 4th Battalion. He is a single man.
