Casualty List Keeps Growing

Within the past few days the casualty lists emanating from the Somme region have contained the names of a large number of the signallers of the old 84th Battalion, and today another, Signaller Ernest Lowther Lemon, is reported wounded. During his stay here last winter, Signaller Lemon who had a most agreeable disposition, made many friends. Just before he left for overseas he received the sad news of the death of his mother in Ireland, and also that one of his brothers at the front had been wounded.
