Eric Edward Lilley

Funeral services were held today in Oshawa for Eric Edward Lilley.  Mr. Lilley was born February 25, 1896 at Paris.  He is survived by Mrs. Lilley, the former Edith May Kerr.  They were married in Brantford, March 9, 1929.  A resident of the Oshawa district for 32 years Mr. Lilley previously worked for Penman’s Ltd. At Paris.  Prior to his retirement in 1954, because of ill health, he had worked for General Motors in Oshawa for 25 years.  Mr. Lilley died at the Bowmanville Memorial Hospital, following a long illness.  Funeral services were held at the Armstrong Funeral Home, with interment in Mount Lawn Cemetery, Oshawa.
