Elmer Christian Gress

A native of Brantford, Elmer Christian Gress died yesterday in the Hamilton General Hospital, in his fifty-fourth year.  He had been a resident of Hamilton for the past twenty-seven years and was employed as a railway mail clerk on the Hamilton and Owen Sound run.  He was a veteran of the First World War.  Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. O. Hall, (Norma) Brantford, and a sister, Mrs. Edna Desand, S. Catharines.  He is resting at the Truscott Brothers’ Funeral Home, Hamilton, where the service will be held Friday afternoon, followed by interment in Greenwood Cemetery here.
