Edward Walter Noble

Edward Walter Noble, formerly of 931 Hamilton Street, Preston, died yesterday at the South Waterloo Memorial Hospital, Galt, in his 67th year.  Born in England, Mr. Noble resided in Brantford before moving to Preston 40 years ago.  He was a despatcher on the Grand River Railway for many years.  He was a member of the Ozias Masonic Lodge in Brantford.  He was a veteran of the First World War.  Surviving besides his widow, the former Violet Shupe, are two daughters, Mrs. David (Jean) Learn of Ingersoll and Mrs. Lloyd (Norma Ziegler of Hanover; one brother, Verde of Brantford; one sister, Mrs. Roy Reid of Flint Mich.; six grandchildren.  The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at the Stager Barthel Funeral Home, Preston.  Interment will be in the Memory Gardens, Breslau.
