David Goshgarian
A wide circle of Armenian friends and many war-time acquaintances will regret to learn of the death of David Goshgarian, which occurred last night in the Brantford General Hospital. Deceased, who resided at 164 Elgin Street, was forty-six years old and came to Canada from Armenia, twenty-seven years ago. On December 1, 1917 he enlisted at London, Ont., in the First Depot Battalion, W.O.R. and he served in the Fourth Reserve of the C.E.F. overseas. He is a member of Grace Church. To mourn his loss, besides his sorrowing widow are three children, Herbert, Annie and Ruby. Mr. Goshgarian is resting at the Beckett Funeral Home, from where the funeral will be held to Grace Church, Saturday afternoon. Interment will be in the Soldiers’ Plot, Mount Hope Cemetery.

The funeral of David, Goshgarian was held Saturday afternoon from the Beckett Funeral Home to Grace Church where the service was in charge of Venerable Archdeacon A.L.G. Clarke. The pallbearers were members of the Canadian Legion, William Leyland, E. Mercer, E. Hergenroeder, J. Emmett, E. Edwards, and James Thompson. Interment was in the Soldiers’ Plot at Mount Hope Cemetery with Bugler Sid Lowe sounding the “Last Post.”
