Private Claude Lawton, son of Mr. C.W. Lawton of the Paris Review, has been seriously wounded by gunshot in both legs and also had both legs fractured. He enlisted with the York Rangers shortly after the outbreak of war, leaving for overseas in 1914 with the First Contingent. This is the second time he has been reported.
