RAMMAGE, Charles Russell – At the Brantford General Hospital on Friday, March 11, 1988, C. Russell Rammage, in his 93rd year; beloved husband of Florence Stratford; dear father of Omer and Mary Rammage, Charles and Pauline Rammage, Stuart and Jean Rammage, Jean and Byron Nevin, Marilyn and Ernie Burke; loving grandfather of 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; survived by one sister, Beryl Sutcliffe and several nieces and nephews.  Russell was a lifelong farmer in the Oakland area.  He was a veteran of the First World War serving with the eighth reserve battalion Canadian Expeditionary Force and a life member of the Legion.  Friends will be received at the Beckett-Glaves Family Funeral Centre, 88 Brant Avenue on Monday, 7 to 9 p.m. Service in the chapel on Tuesday at 1.30 p.m.  Interment Oakland Cemetery.  As expressions of sympathy donations to the Oakland United Church Memorial Fund would be greatly appreciated.
