Charles Horsepool

Charles Horsepool passed away at the Brantford General Hospital yesterday in his sixty-eighty year.  The deceased was born in Old Horse Fair, Cambridge, England and came to Brantford twenty-five years ago.  He enlisted with the 84th Battalion and was transferred to the 11th C.R.T., with which he served in France for two years and eleven months.  He leaves to mourn his loss three daughters, Mrs. W. Brown, Brantford; Mrs. H. Jackson, England; Mrs. A. Martindale, England; four sons, Charles and Harry Horsepool, Sheffield, England Richard Richards, Brantford, and Harold Richards, Chatham.  The late Mr. Horsepool is resting at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. W. Brown, 21 Allenby Avenue.  There will be a private service there on Wednesday afternoon, followed by a public service in Holy Trinity Church.  Interment will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery.

Charles Horsepool

The funeral of Charles Horsepool took place yesterday afternoon with a private service at the residence of his daughter, Mrs. William Brown, 21 Allenby Avenue, and a public service at Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Rev. H.E. Merrifield, Holy Trinity Church, was in charge of eh service.  The funeral was largely attended and many floral tributes evidenced the high esteem in which the deceased was held.  Bugler Jack Frost sounded the Reveille and Last Post at the graveside.  The pallbearers were Messrs. J. McGrattan, P. Plant, E. Taylor, E. Edwards, J. Mason and Norman Littich.
