Mr. and Mrs. B. Hess, Princeton, received a telegram yesterday informing them that their son, Private Carroll Hess, had been wounded on June 9. Pte. Carroll Hess went overseas with the first Brant Battalion, but was transferred to a battalion at the front, and was doing his bit in France when he received a gunshot wound in his leg.
